Construction in Boracay for Tourism

The new development at the Boracay Island Philippines is in now on process. The controversial international airport in Romblon is now developing not only to make the Boracay Island Philippines accessible but also attracts more tourists in the beautiful island. In line with this according to the news that there are quite few foreign and local investors speeding up in to buying the prime properties in Carabao island, the municipal mayor of San Jose.
Mayor Filipino Tandog said 1.8 kilometers of the runway was constructed out of the P3-billion private initiative project that is expected to be operational by 2012.
Romblon Rep. Leandro Jesus Madrona and Gov. Natalio Beltran III and other provincial officials recently have a meeting with the President of the Philippines in accordance to this new project. The President gave her assurance to move forward and materialize this project, even with the Caticlan airport advance project where food and beverage conglomerate San Miguel Corp. was interested also interested, added by Tandog. Unfortunately the Tandog are not happy to most of the officials of the Department of Transportation and Communications for being negative as they mentioned that the Carabao island airport will not push in the course for the reason that of the air traffic and the prohibition of having two international airports within 50 kilometers.
