The First Boracay SKYATHON this April

The first ever Skyathon beach and surf will be going to take place in Boracay Island Philippines the paradise among tourists from across the globe. This much awaited event will be going to start next month, April with 10-kilometer and 5-kilometer race categories. The SKYATHON Bora Beach and Surf Run: Run for the clean-up of Boracay will be held on April 24, 2010, Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Participants from across the world are hoping to come in positive outlook with winning. According to the rules the participants will race barefoot or in aqua socks when they run from Station 1 to Station 3, this will going to be much fun according to some excited contestant. The start and finish location will be at the Guillys Island beachfront at Station 1.
In good benefit this event will help the program such as Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary and Kiwanis Club of Boracay in accordance with the cleanliness of the Boracay Island Philippines and Boracay beach resort. This event was organized by the Keep Me Posted Inc. (KMP) and officiated by the Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP). Participants who are interested for this much awaited and exciting event, here are the further information that you need to know:
Entry fees are P500 for 10K and P300 for 5K (March 1 to April 4), P700 for 10K and P500 for 5K (April 5 to 20) and P900 for 10K and P700 for 5K (April 21 to 23). The 10K male age groups are 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and above, while the 10K female age groups are 18-29, 30-39, and 40 and above.
